1. About us and these terms

Harley Street Medical Doctors Limited ("we", "our", "us") is a private medical clinic registered in England and Wales, company number 08197186, with its registered office at First Floor, 57A Wimpole Street, London, W1G 8YP.

We are registered with the Care Quality Commission, provider ID 1-2953688725. Our clinicians are registered with the General Medical Council.

These terms apply both to your use of this website and to any consultation, treatment or service you receive from us. By using the website or booking an appointment, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or book with us.

Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

‍

2. Who we can treat

  • Our services are for adults aged 18 and over.
  • All treatment is provided in person at our London clinic.
  • We do not dispatch medication outside the United Kingdom.
  • If you live outside the United Kingdom you are welcome to attend the clinic in person, but we cannot consult, diagnose, prescribe or supply medication to you remotely while you are abroad.

‍

3. Using this website

  • You must be at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent or guardian to use our website.
  • You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else's use of the site.
  • You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, our servers, or any connected systems.

‍

4. Medical disclaimer and emergencies

  • This website does not provide emergency medical services. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 999 immediately. For urgent medical advice that is not an emergency, call NHS 111 or contact your GP.
  • The content on this website is for general information purposes only and does not constitute medical advice.
  • You should always seek professional medical advice from a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your health.
  • We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of the information provided.

‍

5. Consultations

  • Your first consultation is always in person at our clinic. We cannot assess you, or begin treatment, on the basis of an online form or a telephone call alone.
  • Where a treatment is ongoing, we will tell you how often you need to be seen. For some treatments an in-person review is required at set intervals to keep a prescription active.
  • Some interim check-ins may be carried out remotely where your clinician judges that appropriate. Remote contact supplements in-person care; it does not replace it.
  • Booking an appointment is not a guarantee that a particular treatment will be offered to you. Whether a treatment is clinically appropriate is a decision for the clinician after assessment.

‍

6. Prescribing

  • All prescribing is carried out by a GMC-registered doctor following assessment, and where relevant, blood testing.
  • We do not prescribe anabolic steroids or other performance-enhancing drugs under any circumstances.
  • We may decline to prescribe, or may stop a treatment, where we consider it is not clinically appropriate or not safe to continue. We will explain our reasons.
  • Prescriptions are issued for you alone. They must not be shared, resold or passed to anyone else.

‍

7. Unlicensed medicines

Some treatments we offer involve medicines that do not hold a UK marketing authorisation. These are known as unlicensed medicines. It means the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency has not assessed them for safety, quality or effectiveness.

Unlicensed medicines can be supplied lawfully to meet a patient's particular clinical need, on the responsibility of the prescribing clinician.

Where a medicine we propose is unlicensed, we will tell you before treatment begins, explain what that means, and ask you to confirm in writing that you understand it. If you would prefer not to receive an unlicensed medicine, tell us and we will discuss the alternatives, which may include not proceeding.

‍

8. Medication supply and delivery

  • Medication is dispensed by a registered pharmacy. We will tell you which pharmacy is supplying you.
  • Where medication is posted, it is sent within the United Kingdom only.
  • Some medicines must be kept refrigerated. Where that applies we will tell you how to store them and what to do if you think the cold chain has been broken.
  • Please check what you receive on arrival and contact us promptly if anything appears wrong, damaged or missing.

‍

9. Fees, deposits and cancellation

  • Our fees are set out on our pricing page and confirmed to you before you book.
  • A deposit of 150 pounds is taken to secure an appointment. It is credited against the cost of the consultation or treatment that follows.
  • If you need to change or cancel an appointment, please tell us at least 72 hours beforehand. Within 72 hours, or if you do not attend, the deposit is retained.
  • Refunds are dealt with in our Refund and Return Policy, which forms part of these terms.
  • Nothing in this section affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to expect services to be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

‍

10. Your responsibilities

To treat you safely we rely on what you tell us. You agree:

  • to give us accurate and complete information about your health, your medical history, and any medicines, supplements or other substances you are taking;
  • to tell us if any of that changes during treatment;
  • to follow the treatment plan and dosing you have been given, and to attend the reviews and blood tests we ask for;
  • to store and administer any medication as instructed; and
  • to contact us if you experience side effects or if something does not feel right.

We may decline or discontinue treatment where information has been withheld or where a plan is not being followed, if we consider it is no longer safe to continue.

‍

11. Complaints

If you are unhappy with any part of your care or our service, please tell us. Our Complaint Procedure explains how to raise a complaint, how we will respond and the timescales involved, and where you can take the matter if you remain dissatisfied.

Raising a complaint will never affect the care you receive from us.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or distribute any content without our prior written consent.

  • The inclusion of a link does not imply our endorsement of the linked website.

‍

14. Limitation of liability

  • Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
  • Subject to that, we are not liable for loss or damage that was not foreseeable, or for business losses.
  • In relation to the website specifically, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, it, and we do not guarantee that it will always be available, secure, or free from errors or viruses.
  • Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

‍

16. Changes to these terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, in regulatory guidance, or in the services we offer.
  • The current version is always the one published on this page, and we will update the date at the top when it changes.
  • Where a change materially affects treatment you are already receiving, we will tell you directly.

‍

17. Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
  • Harley Street Medical Doctors is registered with the Care Quality Commission and provides its services from its clinic in London, United Kingdom. All treatment is provided in person at our London clinic.
